Service Description

Treatment is only carried out after an extensive consultation. First time consultation cost £20. The consultation may last up to about 20 minutes. Reflexology is of Chinese Origin and is a complementary therapy which eases the symptoms of several conditions. It involves gentle massage and pressure to the feet (but may be applied to the hand and ear if required) It is suggested that there are energy lines passing through the body and when these are disrupted by a build-up of crystals symptoms are exacerbated. The massage is applied to the sole of the feet as they are a mirror image of the organs and structures within the body. An initial assessment identifies the areas causing the problems by palpating the feet for tenderness, pain, temperature, colour and skin condition changes. Treatment then continues for up to eight sessions involving massage directly to the areas identified.
